In Sub-Saharan Africa, girls go to school less. And those that go, leave earlier. Housework and early marriage -usually forced- prevent them from going. Chad is one of the countries in the world with the lowest school attendance rates for girls: only 49% of them attend primary school and the percentage that attends secondary school doesn't even reach 5%.
